Invite friends, get Supporter free
Clippy is free. Supporter adds 50 GB for shared clips, every theme and more, and every friend you bring adds Supporter time to your account.
Your friend gets
14 days
of Supporter, plus 2 GB of storage, when they verify their email within 14 days of signing up.
You get, per friend
up to 37 days
of Supporter, and 30 more if they ever support Clippy. Up to 365 days in all.
What each step pays you
- Your friend verifies their email 7 days + 1 GB
- They share their first clip 30 more days + 2 GB
- They become a supporter 30 more days + 5 GB
Days are days of Supporter, added on top of any you already have. If you already pay for Supporter you earn the storage alone.
How it works
- Sign in to Clippy. Your invite link is on Profile in the app and on your Referrals page here.
- Send it to friends who play. It takes them to the download page and says you sent them.
- They install Clippy and sign in from the app. Days land the moment they verify their email.
- Every clip you share counts too: its Get Clippy button carries your invite.
Questions
How do I get my invite link?
Sign in to Clippy. Your link is on Profile in the app and on the Referrals page on clippy.gg, with a Copy button.
When do the days arrive?
The moment your friend verifies their email, and again when their first shared clip has finished processing. You get a notification each time.
I already pay for Supporter. What do I get?
Storage instead of days, because days would add nothing to a subscription you pay for: 1 GB when a friend joins, 2 GB when they share a clip, 5 GB if they become a supporter.
Is there a limit?
You can earn up to 365 days of Supporter through invites, a full year.
Does a friend who installs from my clip count?
Yes. The Get Clippy button on a clip you shared carries your invite, so a friend who installs from it and signs up counts as yours.
