How to clip Garry's Mod on PC

Garry's Mod clips are mostly people: a traitor caught in TTT, a prop that hid in plain sight, a contraption that falls apart. Clippy records while you play, so when the server erupts you press one key and keep the moment with the voices.

Clip Garry's Mod in four steps

  1. Download Clippy and open it once. It sits in the tray from then on.
  2. Start Garry's Mod. Clippy sees the game start and begins keeping the last minute in memory, with nothing to set up.
  3. When something happens worth keeping, press F8. That minute is saved as an MP4 named after the game and the time.

Yes. "Fit under N MB" lowers the bitrate, and the resolution when needed, to fit a limit such as Discord's free 10 MB (at the time of writing).
